Were you expecting a dark room with glowing forge and bellows in the corner?....Actually an armour workshop would have been fairly well lit to see the necessary details...and most armor was forged without heat until the end when it was heat treated for strength!  Here, Mr. Young sculpts, forges armour, makes furniture, art and replicas.  Note the extensive use of reference photos to achieve proportions and correct form.  While the hammer & anvil work is still the same, an obvious radio (medieval music right!) and a few powered tools to cut, drill, grind and polish have taken the place of mind-numbing elbow grease.....still, these basic techniques are really no different from procedures those used by craftsfolk centuries ago.....
